Conductor Jack Schulze graduated from UW-Milwaukee in 1974 with a BFA in Music Education and has extensive experience both in conducting and playing in military bands. In 1971 he enlisted in the 84th Division Army Reserve Band, located in Milwaukee. There his assignments included being Trombone Section leader, and Principal Conductor and leader of the “Rail Splitter Dance Band.” In 1998 he transferred to the 132nd Army Band of the Wisconsin National Guard, located in Madison, where he also plays and conducts. He has since retired.

Jack has performed with the Hartland Community Band in the past and is a founder and former member of Sterling and Brass, the Lake Country Brass Quintet.
