The Hartland Community Band is a volunteer organization that has been active in the musical life of Southeast Wisconsin's artistic community since 1994. The Band is delighted to entertain the Lake Country and surrounding Communities, and to provide a musical outlet for the many talented performers in the area.
The Band enjoys performing summer concerts at Nixon Park in Hartland and other Community parks as well. We perform an annual Christmas program at the Holy Hill National Shrine. The band has been able to bring its love of music-making to more distant places, as well. In 1997 band members spent 2 weeks in Germany and Austria, performing in scenic concert settings. We were also the featured guest of the 84th Division Reserve Band, performing in their annual
Mother's Day concert at the Pabst Theater in Milwaukee. In 2003, the Band was able to make a tour of Door County and followed up with a concert in King, Wisconsin at the Veteran's Home. We again played a concert in King at the Veteran's Home last summer.
Band membership dues are $20.00 per calendar year.
